Today, I did something I have been working toward for an entire decade. I walked into my very own studio! As many of you know, I’ve been working out of a small in-home studio for quite some time and had grown out of the space. For so long, I’ve wanted a solo studio outside my home and I am finally there!
I found the most darling space in a perfect area of Sioux Falls, in the old South Dakota School for the Deaf. The space has had some updating and personalizing done in the last month and today, I moved in!

With some brand new flooring, a little paint and stain, and demo of an old work bench, it is perfect for me!

I spent the day today cleaning out my old space (soon to be our new family room!), moving some items into the new space, and planning my trip to Ikea next week for the furniture I need. I still have SO much work to do until it is finished, but I can’t wait to have the new studio up and running!
